Tomales Bay

Tomales Bay was super fun today! For those of my three followers that don't know where Tomales Bay is, its north of the San Francisco Bay. It doesn't show up on most maps of California because it's really skinny. Here's a map that has it, but it may be hard to find:

So from San Francisco, look north. You see San Rafael the Petaluma. Petaluma is on the northern part of the bay.

So we drove near the point, where there's a light house. We went to Tomales Bay State Park where there were tons of dead jellyfish on the shore. That's where I learned I have an irrational fear of jelly fish.

Then we drove to the lighthouse, but no one wanted to get out of the car, so we drove down to Drake Beach (named after Sir Francis Drake). Drake beach is near the bottom of the bay.

It's too bad it wasn't fall, because my sister really wanted to get oysters from Hog Island Oyster Company. I personally don't like oysters, but anything to shut up my sister, right?

All in all, today was a pretty good day! I'm really tired, though.

There were jelly fish like this EVERYWHERE!
